Between Two Hills
Commissioned by the Carolina Concert Choir of Hendersonville, NC, this setting of the Carl Sandburg poem been performed numerous times, including a performance at Piccolo Spoleto.

The Present of Time
This piano quartet (two violins and cello with piano) was commissioned as a Christmas present for three children (all string players) and their mother, by her parents.

À Chiu
A flutist in Colorado commissioned this arrangement of Riu Riu Chiu for flute sextet as a present to her students.

Per Aspera ad Astra
A quartet for flutes in memory of Roland Lietzenmayer, commissioned by his teacher Catherine LeGrand. When you follow the link you can download the music for performance, free of charge under a Creative Commons license.

Arrangements

I write arrangements on commission (and, occasionally, on impulse). Contact me to find out what I’m working on now.

Appearances

I am available for personal appearances in conjunction with performances and for other composition-related events.

I also work as a chamber music coach, and at flute ensemble and recorder workshops.

Service Bureau

Work for hire
I do score preparation and music typesetting using Finale. I am also available for individual short projects – for instance, creating a bridge between two musical sections for a church service.

Production
I have experience in all areas of musical production, including program design and production and annotation.

Recording
I record concerts and recitals as well as demo recordings for auditions.

Special projects
Single copies are also available.

Music Availability
My music can be purchased in a variety of ways, depending on the type of music and the available distribution channels: I am predominately self-published.

Flute Music
Most of my flute music is available from Flute World and other retail and online sources. If you see a work in my catalog that is not available from them then please contact me for copies. We have developed some creative (inexpensive and fast) ways for delivery that may surprise you.

Chamber Music
Music for small combinations of instrument (brass ensembles, wind quintets is available from Music Under Construction.

Choral Music
My choral music is available from Music Under Construction on a licensed basis. When you buy a non-transferrable license I will send you PDF file. You may print up to 100 copies of this work for your choral organization.

Single copies are also available.

Larger Works
Parts for orchestral works are available for rent. Please send email from the contact page for details. Sample scores are available online.
